Approach to Care

My style is thoughtful and structured, grounded in Adlerian psychodynamic principles. I integrate goal-oriented methods such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support clarity, direction, and meaningful progress. My approach is both reflective and action-focused, and I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual with intention and care.

Why I Do This

I primarily serve geriatric adults, with a special focus on individuals from refugee backgrounds. My sessions tend to be brief and structured, with an emphasis on achieving tangible progress while honoring each client’s pace and goals. I’m deeply passionate about learning people’s stories and creating an environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

What a First Session Will Be Like

In our first session, I focus on building rapport, getting to know your experiences, and collaborating to identify goals for therapy. My aim is to create a space that feels welcoming and supportive from the start, so you feel comfortable sharing and exploring what matters most to you.

Personal Interests

Outside of my clinical work, you’ll often find me outdoors—walking, hiking, or simply enjoying some fresh air. Regular exercise and a clean-eating lifestyle are key parts of my self-care, and I believe physical and emotional wellness go hand in hand. I strive to live with intention and balance, and I bring that same mindset into my work with clients.
