Approach to Care

I integrate strength-based, person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices. My approach includes Narrative Therapy, NET, Brainspotting, CBT, and Dohsa-hou (Japanese Movement Therapy), tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

Why I Do This

Growing up in Japan and spending time in Minnesota, I found joy in connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and age groups. As I discovered the impact of emotional support on mental health, I was inspired to pursue therapy. My early interest in cross-generational trauma and resilience continues to shape how I support others in their healing journey.

What a First Session Will Be Like

The first session is a chance for us to connect and explore what therapy might look like for you. We’ll review the services I offer, discuss your goals, and address any questions you may have. I’ll guide you through the therapy process at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive as you take this important first step.
