Areas of Interest
I work with clients through a humanistic, strengths-based, and person-centered approach. I strive to meet individuals where they are and empower them to recognize their potential and take meaningful steps toward change.
Approach to Care
My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, culturally humble, and nonjudgmental—with a healthy dose of humor to foster connection and ease.
Why I Do This
I’m passionate about validating the experiences of individuals who have been underserved by our mental health systems. I have a strong interest in intersectionality, trauma, and fostering healthy relationships, as well as teaching skills related to boundary-setting, self-advocacy, and emotional regulation.
What a First Session Will Be Like
The first session is an important step in building a safe, respectful therapeutic relationship. I’ll be present and supportive as I learn about your experiences and the goals you hope to achieve.
Experience
I have 17 years of experience as a licensed educator, along with foundational clinical training through an internship at Park Nicollet’s Reproductive Mental Health Program, where I served as an EPDS Triage Care Coordinator.
