Full Compensation for All Work Unlike many agencies that pay only for direct client time, Pathways compensates you for all hours spent fulfilling your role, including documentation, meetings, and coordination. Earning Potential With meeting minimum client-hour expectations, you will receive a minimum of $350 per month and up to $1,000 per month in productivity incentives. The majority of our practitioners receive additional productivity bonuses throughout the year. Rate increases are available when performance consistently meets or exceeds contract standards. Professional Growth and Development Pathways offers continuing education at no cost to help you meet licensing requirements. After one year of meeting contract standards, there is potential for clinical trainee experience that can count toward LP, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, or LICSW licensure. There is also an opportunity to transition into our Clinical Trainee track for expanded growth and independent licensure support. As an ARMHS Practitioner, you will work with adults to provide rehabilitative mental health services that build life and coping skills.Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a caseload of 18 to 20 clients.
- Provide primarily in-person services, with telehealth options available only when necessary and when clients have access to HIPAA-compliant video.
- Participate in 4 to 6 remote team meetings per month.
- Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
Contract Details and Compensation
- Independent Contractor status: flexibility without the constraints of PTO or employer-provided insurance.
- Flexibility: create your own schedule and choose where you work, remote, in person, or hybrid.
- Commitment: minimum one-year contract.
- Compensation: paid for all hours worked, not just direct client sessions, plus bonuses and rate increase opportunities.
- Work Location: hybrid. Professional meetings are primarily held remotely, with regular opportunities to meet in person. Client services are expected to be provided in person, with telehealth sessions allowed only in extenuating circumstances when in-person services are not possible and the client has access to HIPAA-compliant video.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, or 2,000 hours of relevant experience.

About Pathways Counseling Center
Pathways Counseling Center is excited to offer a clinical internship opportunity within our expanding LGBTQIA+ Program, directed by Jen Reddig, MA, LMFT. This internship provides a unique opportunity to serve clients within the LGBTQIA+ community while developing advanced clinical skills in a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive environment. Our team is growing rapidly, and we’re seeking interns who are passionate about making a meaningful impact and growing both personally and professionally alongside us.Program Overview
Interns in this program will gain experience providing psychotherapy and diagnostic assessments for individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community. Experience working specifically with LGBTQIA+ clients is preferred but not required, as specialized training and ongoing consultation are provided throughout the internship.Time Commitment
- A minimum of ten clinical services per week (e.g., diagnostic assessments or psychotherapy sessions) is required.
- The internship duration is a minimum of one year.
- Including meetings and documentation, this generally requires about 20 hours per week.
- Additional clients are available if you wish to increase your caseload or gain more experience.
Structure and Supervision
- Interns receive supervision hours toward licensure (when applicable) at no cost.
- You will participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and optional advanced trainings.
- Administrative time between sessions is not reimbursed; however, any billable service time (psychotherapy or assessment) is compensated through the internship agreement.
- Interns are supported by both their direct supervisor and the broader Pathways leadership team.
