About Pathways Counseling Center

Pathways Counseling Center continues to expand to meet the increasing demand for affirming, trauma-informed mental health care.

Our LGBTQIA+ Program, led by Director Jen Reddig, LMFT, provides culturally responsive therapy that celebrates authenticity and fosters connection. We are passionate about helping individuals embrace who they are while navigating the challenges that come with identity, relationships, and self-acceptance.

We are seeking a Licensed Psychotherapist who shares this commitment and is eager to provide affirming care within a collaborative, mission-driven organization.

Who We Support

We welcome LGBTQIA+ adults and family members seeking to better support their loved ones.

What We Offer:
We provide individual therapy via telehealth or in-person sessions at our Saint Paul office.

Our specialties include:

  • Trauma recovery
  • Emotion regulation
  • Self-compassion
  • Diverse relationship structures

What Makes Us Unique

We specialize in supporting clients at the intersection of LGBTQIA+ identity and neurodivergence.
Many neurodivergent individuals face challenges finding therapists who truly understand the complexity of their lived experiences.

Our team values authenticity, curiosity, and trust. We listen without judgment, honor each person’s story, and celebrate the ongoing journey of self-discovery.

Some of our providers share these identities themselves, allowing us to connect with clients in a deeper and more meaningful way.

Why Inclusive Care Matters

LGBTQIA+ adults face unique mental health challenges—and we’re here to help.

Research shows that:

  • Lesbian, gay, and bisexual adults are over twice as likely to experience mental health issues compared to heterosexual adults. (SAMHSA, 2016)
  • Transgender adults are nearly four times more likely to face mental health struggles than their cisgender peers. (Transgender Health, 2019)

These disparities often stem from identity exploration, family rejection, and unsupportive environments. That’s why affirming, culturally responsive care is essential.

We believe every person deserves a therapist who understands their lived experience and offers compassionate, competent support. Our team is committed to creating a safe space where healing and self-discovery can thrive.
