Reports to: Pamela Oberoi, Director of the Global Mental Health Program
Location: Hybrid – St. Paul, MN / Telehealth (Remote)

Who We Are

At Pathways Counseling Center, we believe that healing begins with understanding.
Our Global Mental Health Program provides specialized mental health care for forcibly displaced individuals and culturally diverse communities.

Our clinicians integrate clinical excellence with cultural humility, supporting clients as they navigate displacement, trauma, and adaptation to new environments—restoring safety, belonging, and hope.

Why Our Work Matters

More than 110 million people around the world have been forcibly displaced, often facing trauma, loss, and barriers to culturally relevant care.

Our mission is to bridge that gap, providing evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care that honors each person’s story.

Our Approach

We use an integrative, collaborative, and culturally grounded model of care that values partnership, respect, and cultural strengths.
Our clinicians receive ongoing cross-cultural consultation and training, and we proudly serve clients in many languages—including:
Arabic, Burmese, Somali, Sgaw Karen, Pwo Karen, Swahili, French, Lingala, German, Karenni, Kinyarwanda, Yoruba, Hmong, Thai, and more.
