Position Overview
This is an independent contractor position—not a salaried or benefits-eligible role.

Our ideal candidate is a Clinical Trainee who is passionate about working with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and is eager to grow as part of a compassionate, mission-driven team.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to adults (18+) through telehealth and/or in-person sessions at our St. Paul office.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments as needed.
- Attend clinical supervision and monthly professional meetings.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system.
Supervision
Free clinical supervision is provided toward the following licensures:
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Supervision is provided by Pathways’ qualified, culturally responsive supervisors.
Contract Details & Compensation
- Independent Contractor status: paid time off and health insurance are not provided.
- Flexibility: Create your own schedule; work remote, in person, or hybrid.
- Commitment: Minimum one-year contract.
- Caseload: 20+ sessions per week (with option to expand).
- Compensation: Flat-rate reimbursement per service, plus travel reimbursement (if applicable).
- Bonuses: Hiring, mid-year, and end-of-year bonuses available.
Professional Development

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
- Experience or interest in working with refugees, immigrants, or culturally diverse populations (preferred).
